House Lockouts

Locked out of your home?

Getting locked out is more common than you'd think — and more stressful. Whether you've lost your keys, broken one off in the lock, or shut the door behind you, we can get you back in without damaging your door or frame.

We come directly to your home across the southern suburbs. Call us and we'll give you an ETA — we aim to reach most Kwinana and Rockingham area jobs within 30 minutes. We also offer an after-hours emergency lockout service for when it happens outside business hours.

💡 If you've broken a key off in the lock — don't try to extract it yourself with tweezers or pliers. Call us first, as this often makes the extraction harder and more expensive.

What we handle

  • Locked out — keys inside
  • Lost keys
  • Broken key in lock
  • Faulty lock preventing entry
  • After-hours emergency lockouts
  • Price given over phone before we arrive

Rekeying

One key for all your locks

Rekeying changes the internal pins of your existing locks so that old keys no longer work and a new key operates all locks. It's the most cost-effective security upgrade you can do — especially when moving into a new home, after losing keys, or following a break-in.

We rekey all residential lock brands including Gainsborough, Lockwood, Carbine, Brava and Iconic (Bunnings). In most cases we can key all your door locks — front door, back door, screen doors — to a single key.

Gainsborough Lockwood Carbine Brava Iconic + more

When to rekey

  • Just moved into a new home
  • Lost your keys
  • After a break-in or attempted entry
  • Tenants have vacated a rental property
  • Keys given to tradespeople or previous owners
  • Want one key to open all locks

Screen Door Locks

Security screen door lock supply and fit

Security screen doors are a first line of defence for Perth homes, but the locks on them take a lot of daily use and eventually fail. We supply and fit screen door locks from the main quality brands — Whitco, Carbine, Lockwood and Austral — and can match to your existing door hardware where possible. We cover Rockingham, Kwinana, Cockburn and all surrounding suburbs.

Where we can, we'll also key your new screen door lock to match your existing house keys so you're not carrying two keys for the front of your home.

Whitco Carbine Lockwood Austral

Common screen door lock jobs

  • Lock replacement — worn or broken mechanism
  • Key no longer turning smoothly
  • Handle broken or loose
  • Lock damaged after attempted break-in
  • Upgrade to higher security lock
  • Keyed alike to front door

Sliding & Patio Door Locks

Jason Windows and sliding door lock repairs

Sliding door and patio door locks are one of the most common residential jobs we do — and Jason Windows locks in particular are a known problem. Jason has changed their lock design multiple times over the years, which means finding the right replacement isn't always straightforward.

We typically replace failed Jason locks with the current Jason design or a suitable alternative — Whitco and other quality brands — that fits the door properly and provides reliable security.

Whitco sliding door locks are another common job we see across Perth's southern suburbs, particularly on older homes.

💡 If your Jason sliding door lock is stiff, rattling or no longer latching properly — don't wait for it to fail completely. A lock that's struggling is easier and cheaper to deal with than one that's seized or broken off.

Common sliding door lock jobs

  • Jason Windows lock replacement
  • Whitco sliding door lock repair
  • Lock seized or won't latch
  • Handle broken or disconnected
  • Key no longer turning
  • Security upgrade on older doors

Deadbolts & Deadlocks

Deadbolt supply, fit and repair

A quality deadbolt is the most effective single upgrade you can make to your home's security. We supply and fit deadbolts from the main quality brands — Lockwood, Gainsborough and Carbine — and can advise on the right grade of deadbolt for your door type and security needs.

We also repair existing deadbolts where the mechanism has worn, the cylinder has failed, or the bolt is no longer throwing correctly. In many cases a cylinder replacement is all that's needed rather than replacing the whole lock.

Lockwood Gainsborough Carbine

Deadbolt services

  • New deadbolt supply and fit
  • Deadbolt cylinder replacement
  • Bolt not throwing or retracting
  • Key stiff or won't turn
  • Lock damaged after forced entry
  • Keyed alike to existing locks

Window Lock Keys

Keys cut for window locks

Window lock keys are a surprisingly common job — they're easy to lose and not always easy to replace. We can cut keys to most window locks on the spot, including the keyed window stays and sash locks common on Perth homes.

If you've moved into a home and have window locks without keys, call us — we can cut keys to match the existing locks without needing to replace them.

💡 Got window locks but no keys? Don't replace the locks — bring us the lock number or we can come to you and cut new keys on the spot in most cases.

Window key services

  • Keys cut to existing window locks
  • Lost window lock keys replaced
  • Keys cut from lock number
  • Spare window keys cut
  • Window lock replacement if needed
