Key Fob Repair & Replacement — Perth’s Southern Suburbs

A broken fob doesn't always mean a brand new key

Most fob problems come down to one of three things: a cracked or worn-out shell, buttons that have stopped responding, or a battery or sync issue after a battery change. Often the electronics inside are still fine — it’s just the housing or a single worn part that’s failed.

We can rehouse working electronics into a new shell, repair what’s fixable on-site, or supply and program a full replacement fob when that’s the better option — and we’ll tell you which applies before we start any work.

What’s Involved

Repairing, rehousing or replacing your fob

We start by checking whether the electronics inside your fob are still working. If they are, we can often rehouse them into a new shell — a cheaper and faster fix than a full replacement.

If the fob needs replacing outright, we supply a new one and program it to your car on-site, so you’re not left without a working key while you wait on a dealer order.
