The Triton is the highest-volume Mitsubishi on WA roads, and it shows in the calls we get — tradie and mining-fleet Tritons rack up huge mileage in dusty, heavy daily-use conditions, and the ignition barrel is usually the first thing to suffer. Across the ML, MN and MQ series, key jamming and a barrel that won't turn smoothly are some of the most frequent Mitsubishi jobs we do.

Newer Outlanders use rolling-code transponder chips that need proper diagnostic equipment to program — which we carry on the van, so most jobs are done on-site in a single visit.

Older Remote & Flip Keys
Mitsubishi won't start, but the key still locks and unlocks the doors?
It's a strange one to explain over the phone — the remote still beeps, the doors still lock and unlock, but the car itself won't start, or only starts some of the time. This is a common one on older Lancer, ASX and Outlander remote and flip keys, where years of being carried in a pocket or on a heavy keyring takes a toll on the plastic casing.
We can quickly work out whether it's the key or something else, then either fit your existing internals into a fresh, better-quality casing, or upgrade you to a new flip key altogether — whichever makes more sense for your car and budget.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
